If you're a socialist, you'll probably enjoy Good Bye Lenin!. It's another German film and it stars Daniel Bruhl, the actor who played Jan. It's probably my favorite German movie. It takes place during/after the fall of the Berlin Wall and how capitalism takes over East Germany. The acting is outstanding.

The story is even better in the non official sequel, the Edukated, in which the Edukators run out of money in Nicaragua. They try to pull their crap against the rich but find out they broke in the home of Jason Bourne who has become an embittered drug lord. He applies a Kali counter move on the dark haired guy, who from the resulting brain damage becomes a beggar with anal incontinence, and sells the other two to a prostitution ring, where the blond guy becomes a passive.

I'm writing the script for a small movie in which three rich German actors posing in socialist movies are assaulted at their homes, bludgeoned on the head and questioned about how come they make more money than south asian local theater actors.

Since my movie will be more realist, the bludgeoned characters will suffer permanent brain damage. The blond guy will go blind, the blond girl will lose her short term memory and the dark haired one will get a funky speech impediment.
