  • @funstuff2006 Chet plays so fast, that the tone can't follow the film ;-)

  • that is the darndest thing. The audio is synced all way up until 1:23, and then, with no visible/audible cause, besides the changing of cameras, it goes way off sync. Then when they switch back at 1:37, the audio is back in sync!

  • Unbelievable!! This is a good as it gets...Jack Baker NYC

  • @klutzyknockoutlady What a treasure! Thanks for the info.

  • @jameshenry73000 Thanks! I knew that I'd learn something here.

  • @noisefuljoy No, this is not colorized. These "Welcome to the Country Show" Grand Ole Opry films from the 1950's were filmed in color, and have been available in color over the years in various TV packages and DVD sets, etc.

  • @noisefuljoy This isn't the Country Gent...This was a Prototype Stereo guitar Gretsch made for him...two outputs, so he could run echo seperately on the bass notes. They have started making them again I believe.

  • I absolutely love this. I do assume that it's colorized. I think that Chet's Country Gent was walnut-colored, and not orange. I'm sure somebody will have an informed answer...

  • Aaaaah! Love it! The Great Mr. Guitar! :-)

  • wheres the love button?! :)
