clearly not built for the 1/4 mile, cheesewiz went to the track to see how it could do. Fully loaded and on street tires, cheesewiz clearly has traction problems trying to put the power to the ground. Guess that's what we will work on next.

Two passes, first had a time of 12.46 at 115.72 and the second was 12.53 @ 116.86

  • lol, damn. 2011 GT with some DOT slicks can do 12.4 stock 12.6-12.7 with stock tires

  • @krypekeeper - what an amazing and irrelevant comment. so what, if you add a turbo they can do high 9's...

  • haha ya TT's running 12.5's exactly its a real car not a fake jap piece of shit that has to lie about his power and time. and when you say this car isnt not build for the quarter mile all mustangs off the line where built to drag 2 door v8 rwd thats a drag car

  • @turbostreets - true, it's a muscle car, but as you said, this is a true street car and not specifically set up for the quarter. We could have changed the rear driveline geometry, we could have thrown some 4:10's in their, we could have gotten rid of the front sway bar. We could have put it on 18" wheels with some drag radials, but that's not how the car runs every day. this is...20" wheels on toyo proxes tires, 3:55 rear end, full street suspension, etc... it even had a full tank of gas...

  • why's it clearly not built for the 1/4 mile?

  • @dhs012 - look at it... that should tell you right there... it's a street car, on 20's, it's not even running drag radials.

  • @fastlaneinc i'm not that confident that the new aluminum engine can handle alot of boost to put it in the 9's.

  • @JPMRIR2 Grabber Orange.

  • sick mustang and whats the name of this song? i love it

  • yellow or orange??

  • Cam only ls1 runs mid/low 12's. The MPH isn't that good for a boosted car that should be runnign strong out the back door. Looks good though

  • nice vid, but nothing exceeding^^

btw, could some1 tell me the name of the soundtrack pleas?!

  • @fastlaneinc Twin Turbo setups can make you run at least a a low 10, high 9. as long as they have a tuned clutch, transmission and flywheel

  • 12's with a tt setup? I know you had street tires but damn...I've seen NA S197s do that w/streets....was it still in the tuning process?

  • @billiardball001 dude most 10.5 cars outlaw and drag radial cars are turbo so what are you saying turbos are not for drag? those are some of the fastest cars

  • @turbostreets LOL.... so the new BMW M3 its for Drag racing?? they are 2doors v8 and RWD.... but I get your point... Mustangs come off the line with a decent drag set up....
