NO....WAY! I've been hooping for a while now and had completely accepted that this was not a move I would ever accomplish. Saw this tutorial and now i can do it (ok one in 10 times, but thats better than not at all). Im so pleased, thank you so much! Im gonna go practice this one some more!

Thank you, SaFire! I have only had a hoop for four days but your tutorials are so helpful and within three minutes of trying this waist-to-neck technique as you described it, I could do it! It's a miracle! Still have new trick face but that'll go away soon enough, I'm sure.

whenever the hoop gets to my chest I experience some pain in the sides of my lower belly (near my kidneys).. is this just muscle cramps/pain or should I worry?

I just got this down - thanks to your video!!! It really helped me to try this with a child's light weight hoop first & in a bra so the hoop can grip to your skin.

I just got a hoop today :D it's a cheap one, but it will do for now. I'm gonna try this trick out. Hopefully my boobs wont get in the way lol.

I'm 5'5" and about 117lbs. I have a 43" hoop and it kinda looks ridiculous when I hoop because it is so much larger than I am. Do you have any suggestions? I think I should be using a 39". Can ya halp?! O__0

@baka15kun Hey hun,
I always recommend having multiple hoop sizes and weights because core moves are usually easier with a larger hoop while small hoops are great for off body moves. Overtime you'll settle on a hoop size and then fluctuate less.

Let me guess. Just under your rib cage?
You'll have to transition into chest hooping at that point.
To practice the transition, you can also drop your body down a bit to bring the hoop that last way up.

Try this one by dropping your body lower each time the hoop comes around. It isn't really the same as bringing it up, but will give you a stepping stone to work with.
