Sir David Attenborough takes Roboshark, a remote-controlled shark complete with camera to Bikini Atoll to give us insight into the behaviour and intelligence of sharks in their natural habitat. Watch how the reef sharks react to Roboshark and whether they are fooled into thinking Roboshark is one of their own. Interesting short video from the BBC documentary Smart Sharks: Swimming with Roboshark. • I've had Remora attach to my wet suit and even to my boat hull while under way... not so much that they would be fooled by Roboshark as much as they just will attach to almost any thing.

  • Wow, this is wonderful! I love this channel!

  • i want a robo shark, do ebay sell them ??

  • @TacticalHub Not to mention the robo shark didn't give off any smells that resembled that of any living thing.

  • @TacticalHub I totally agree. Plus, it's not really moving naturally.

  • sharks can sense electromagnetic fields and these sharks were most likely bemused by the strange electrical signature of roboshark.

  • @orangeblueandlavenda its made from fiberglass

  • which swimming styles if done regularly will make you grow taller?

  • im thinking that be the greatest prank tool, create a great white and send it off in surfing areas

  • sharks are attracted to the waves that metal puts out, which it why they are attraacted to the the robo shark. Sharks generally don't like the sound that metal gives off in the water.

  • @metridium HA! That's cool.

  • @maarakailet1 No real attaching feeling, mostly just a hyper, twitchy critter up against you.
