Review: Hoggy for iPhone by Raptisoft

This is a quick video review of Hoggy for iPhone.

Hoggy is a simple little gravity based platformer that allows you to control a purple blob thing named Hoggy on it's quest to eat fruit and collect keys. You tap the screen to flip gravity and tilt the screen to move Hoggy from left to right. That's about it for the controls, it's very very basic. That makes it pretty nice for a quick little gaming session though and the levels are divided up into short puzzles that you should be able to complete in just a few minutes.

It's the very definition of a casual puzzle game for the iPhone, but that's ok, because it's executed well, it's easy to pick up and play and the graphics are crisp and easy to look at.

The only major gripe I had is that the menu is located in the bottom right of the screen so I kept tapping it accidentally when trying to flip gravity. Other than that I recommend Hoggy for anyone interested in a simple platformer with a gravity-based twist.
