Dead Space - Ending

The final boss is just like all the other bosses; you shoot at the yellow lumps on it.

Shoot the yellow spots near the mouth, while making sure to keep moving so as to avoid getting hit. Eventually it will grab you and you'll have to shoot the yellow spots upside down which is a bit tricky. After that it will drop you, and the lumps on its chest will be open for fire. Once those are down, you run back to the ship, and that's it.

It's not known if the creature at the end was either a necromorph version of Nicole, or if it was just another hallucination. Isaac's fate is also left unanswered, so we don't know if he's dead or alive.

One has to wonder how his balls somehow turned into metal spheres tougher than the stuff his armor was made out of.

I remember after I killed the final boss I was like, "this game is not scary.." and the final cutscene made me shit my pants. This is one of my favorite games of all time.
