splice together, tada. kobe doesn't even need to be in danger. thats why it was shot from the side

KB is not in front of the car. The car is rolls in to his right.

If he is directly in front of the car, the foot of his shadow should be in line with the middle of the car's shadow. But it isn't. Proof that he is not directly in front.
