I'm another person from the 'Lower 48' who's just recently heard of Dala, my choice for a show to listen to via CBC Radio 2's 'Concerts By Demand' offering at their website. Didn't know who they were, but loved it all, especially "Horses" and the intro they gave to that song. As a matter of fact, ALL the intros and the songs. Chasing down info from their own website, I see they'll be playing music here in the States on tour this Winter. I hope to see them in downstate Indiana mid-February.

Kick Ass!

How can it be that so much time passes between viewings of this wonderful song? Fortress introduced them to me but I absolutely love everything I have found of theirs. Glorious music, lyrics and presentation. I am SO sorry their music costs an arm and a leg down under Canada. Because I want it all. So much talent, not fair that only Winnipeg gets to have them.

To me, Dala is the female equal of Jeff Buckley. And to me, that says a lot. They are so incredible.

They are awesome live.

I've only known about them for half an hour and so far this one is my favorite.
I like a bit of sadness with acoustic guitars.

I'm imagining they wrote the lyrics, good stuff.

So clear and crisp.
Dala has harmonies and vocals that are unmatched by any other modern-day bands.
And their lyrics are so powerful!!
i remember hearing this song for the first time on Vinyl, and I was very surprised to hear this song. I didn't know Dala at the time, and the song hit me hard (in a good way). I never knew music could do that to someone. I found myself finding the podcast of that radio show and listening to it over and over and over again. I thank Dala for inspiring me to take an original look on all of my music pieces.
