Surf at Fishos, Torquay, Victoria, Australia

(Episode 1) On the 2nd July 2008 a big swell hit the Torquay area, making the surf too big for most people to surf Bells Beach and the other local breaks. It was school holidays and dozens of local groms hit Fishos, for the best surf at Fishos in a long time. The Dads of the groms were also out there on their mals. If you were surfing there late in the morning you may just feature in this video! Check the amazing finless surfboard!

Whereabouts is this spot? I know its near Point Danger but how far NE of it? From what I know of that little bit of coast I know its Point Danger, then the boating area and then Point Impossible/The nudie beach.

So is it between the boating area and Point Impossible or past that near 13th?

Fishos is the boating area, in between the boat ramp and the little point. So only about 500m NE of Pt Danger. Works best on high tide and a huge swell - usually only once or twice a year.
