13H Refutes CCHR: IOD (part 4 intro) Eugenics & Nazi claims

Many remember John Sweeny of the BBC losing his cool and blowing up at Tommy Davis, of the Church of Scientology. This series deals with the Psychiatry Industry of Death movie, which is integral to the CCHR museum. I've censored both my comments as well as the content of my videos thus far.

I was concerned about CCHR/COS trying to swing the Ban Hammer until I had enough subscribers to insure there would at least be a small public outcry if they did attempt to flag me for featuring some of their content.

The question that brought me to first watch Industry of Death was curiosity. I'd initially came to You Tube to join the fight against the Intelligent Design movement. in hopes of being a voice of reason. Someone had told me about Anonymous, in passing.. I saw their first video, and wasn't sure who seemed more sinister - at the time - The Church of Scientology, or anonymous.

So while preparing to go after Ben Stein and his idiotic movie claiming connections between Darwin, Evolution and the 3rd Reich I stumbled across a video of Sweeny flipping his lid.

What, I wondered, could have been so bad in that psychiatry museum that would cause such a reaction? So, I began to research their clams, and eventually got a copy of this alleged documentary. Then I understood exactly why a respectable journalist would blew up at Tommy Davis after being subjected to such a presentation.

Scientology blames Psychiatry for the atrocities of Nazi Germany, in much the same way Ben Stein blamed Darwinian evolution.

I will be spending several videos dealing with this, the fourth section, of the CCHR documentary inspired by the scriptures of the cult of scientology. I will be sampling their source material during this segment, as well as a WW2 documentary which I've been holding onto for this very purpose.

I apologize for the inclusion of the following clip. however, the depths that CCHR are willing to go to, in order to provoke an emotional response should be displayed.

As their presentation continues forward such displays get progressively worse and worse. From this point forward the usage of horrific images intensifies. This film is structured to maximize its psychological impact upon the viewer. It's structured to traumatize a person sufficiently that they will lose their objectivity, and potentially even FEAR investigating these claims on their own.

Their first statements are, naturally dealing with Eugenics. Although this is indeed part of the equation leading to the holocaust It was no more the cause than the Theory of evolution. It was merely a Justification used to promote the desires of those in power.

Ideas and Inventions are often perverted by those in power to further their own objectives. Unfortunately many who seek to gain power exploit that which was intended to better humanity in order to further their own cause, regardless of the cost.

Racists, bigots, and even religion will take half truths, misconceptions, and such twisted ideals to further their own ends. This is a sad reality.. sadder still is that these people often play on the emotions of others to further their agendas.

They reference Francis Galton, who coined the term Eugenics in 1883. He was the half-cousin of Charles Darwin. There is much to be said about Galton, and I intend to make a video dealing him him specifically. I will also be making a video related to Eugenics within both Nazi Germany as well as the writing of L Ron Hubbard.

However due to time restraints, as my introduction to this section pertaining to their Claims of Nazi ideology and Psychiatry, I would like to leave you with a quote from L Ron Hubbard., from one of his "Scriptures" of the church of Scientology titled "Introduction to Scientology Ethics"

I will let you read it for yourselves. I've seen many disturbing things while reading the varied books on Scientology, but for me this is the most disturbing piece of the puzzle. Did L Ron Hubbard admire Hitler? He has nothing to say of the horrid crimes against humanity which were committed before declaring war. Hitler went wrong when he declared war?

Do a google search 'Psychiatry during the Nazi era: ethical lessons for the modern professional'. Read the article that you find. In Europe we have a memorial day in which we remember those half a million people who were murdered by psychiatrists in Germany. Not forgetting the millions up to the 1970's who were forcibly sterilised. You have not learned your history. And the mistakes shown by history that is not learned and understood will be repeated. I am disgusted by your propoganda.

And I'm disgusted by yours. Are you aware that when the orders came down from the ministry of propaganda in Germany than many of the psychiatrists that were told to examine people for 'defect' went to great extremes to not only sure they were productive, but to help them find work etc. And once again there's a difference between the Eugenics movement and Psychiatry... why am I bothering?

So for example ADHD is a mental disorder described by the state controlled schools as behaviour which schools want to eradicate. 'Running and climbing trees inappropriately.' Inappropriate to whom? School or the child's view? 'Not paying attention or listening to teacher'? Why should I when I am not interested? 'Fidgeting or not being able to sit still for 8 hours a day'? Is this a natural state or society imposed? ADHD is a fraud and an inhumane response to childhood.

I am not saying that many individual psychiatrists did not assist in resisting those ideas and that many in the medical field opposed them. Most emigrated after being dismissed from acedemic institutions. Szasz was one of those... I also refute your view that there is a difference between eugenics... the breeding of a master race... and psychiatry. The DSM epitomises bad behaviour in a moral sense. It describes 'deviancy' as a mental 'disorder' . Read it.

@13Heathens What is well documented is that in 1942 Hitler had to order the psychiatrists.. and other medical scientists.. to stop their massacre of those deemed mentally 'unhealthy' (What does mental 'health' actually mean?) This was because many soldiers returning from the war front found many members of their family had disappeared. Psychiatry (invented by Germans) was dictating the Nazi direction in a way Hitler found uncomfortable.

I'd argue with that, honestly. If the term Eugenics had never been coined, if Francis Galton had never written his book, and California had never hidden behind the banner of Eugenics to remove the "undesired"members of the population, do you really believe that the holocaust wouldn't have happened?

The creationists (intelligent design advocates) have been attempting to blame Eugenics on the theory of evolution. The Scientologists (CCHR & their movie) are blaming the field of psychiatry for Eugenics. Both claims are bullshit. as you said; "Eugenics can be said to be the cause of the atrocities.."

The Holocaust did happen and was horrible beyond imaging or that film clips can show. Don't turn away from that truth

Eugenics IS a pseudo-science.

Psychiatry is the management of mental illness or imbalance through chemical means. Not therapy or behavior modification. And has more than it's share of innocent blood on it's hands. There is more than enough reason to be suspicious of it and Big Pharma's motives.

If you hate Scientology, just say so and attack them based upon their core beliefs.

Thanks. I suffer from IID...(insufficient irony detection) which apparantly affects 99.9% of the population without them even realising. It is not deep rooted yet tho. My psychiatrist assures me he can cure this with copious amounts of a specific drug and, although this has not been 'scientifically' proven yet, he is confident that a positive outcome will occur. I can't wait to see what this new drug will do. Alex Shulgin is the pioneer. What do you think?
