This didn't work for my RR. Had to take it to the dealer and charged me $2,4000 for the repair. I guess that's the price of a luxury SUV.

@f470 You do realize that this generation was engineered and designed by BMW? Right before they sold Land Rover to Ford.

Hi will this work on a p38?? thanks

@powerfulukltd I've seen independant service shops around and they are only $200-300 cheaper than Land Rover. I got the Diagnose and it says Air Spring Replacement so there goes an extra $2K in less than 5 months.

@powerfulukltd Yes, it is a lot of cash. I owned a BMW 745 and never had such expense on repairs or services. Also, keep in mind I am in the US so maybe things are a little more expensive here.
The truck was sitting leveled, but after a few days it started getting uneven. I got to see the truck in the lot after 1 week and it was completely lowered from the front.
So, my RR is saying Air Suspension Inactive for the second time. I use the SUV as my daily vehicle, and for the price I paid, it should be a long lasting vehicle. Sad to say, RR is letting me down BIG TIME. I plan on fixing it one more time, but if it anything else goes wrong with it, I will stay with BMW. This RR is becoming a very expensive dream car.

@f470 Hi - wow this is too bad - you could try spraying some water + washing up liquid around each of the air springs to check for leaks. I guess there is no independant service guys near you ? My car is 2002 and huge miles and lots of owners and no service history at landrover - but against the odds it give me little trouble ! Let us know how you get on

Hi F470 can you let is know what was replaced - sounds like they replaced the air suspension pump ( in the boot under spare wheel ) for this sort of money.

@powerfulukltd Sure. I first took it for a $125 diagnose and the report said RF (Right Front) Air Spring replacement. Air Spring alone was $1700, plus labor and reprogramming which came out to be $2398.56. I left a tip to close the tab at $2,400.00.
My biggest issue was that the dealer took 2 weeks for the job.
