@AsherAshlag couldnt have said it better myself. I was really hoping she'd pick one of the Bach partitas, something to show off the bright sound and dexterity of the violin

@grab it's not the price tag. The sound is amazing. It's her bad choice of music. Really bad. If you want to show off a Strad or Guarnerius, Gershwin is a bad way to do that. This was just beyond me when I saw it first on TV. I would have told her you play Bach or find another TV show.

disgusting...if u choose a jazz piece - go on and improvise over the harmony, it`s not enough to play the melody...that`s what Kenny G does, that is why he is not a jazz musician.
