I made this camera last summer for my Alternative Processes Photography class. I had the video uploaded to a different account, and just recently found the file and decided it needed an upgrade. DIGITALLY REMASTERED!!! By that I mean I added subtitles, better music, and an image that the camera actually made.
What the subtitles don't explain....
Taking a photo:
You'll notice there's no button to push to take the picture. I cover the pinhole with a piece of electric tape. When I'm ready to take the picture, I take it off. This camera's exposures ranged from 1 to 3 seconds in bright sunlight & shade.
Winding the film:
After exposing the film, I took a car key and stuck it in the top of the film reel to turn or advance the film forward. I had to guess how far to turn, because I couldn't see it advancing. At the end I just turned until the film pulled out of the original canister. I developed it myself, but you could use color film and take it to walgreens. Make sure to tell them not to cut it! Your images will be panoramic, spreading over what would normally be about 3 frames.
I altered this design from another. You can find detailed instructions on how to use a yoohoo box here: http://www.instructables.com/id/E5Q3CAMUSREY95RO08/
The beats are by Gillenium:
