@AKAtheProwler Lo sé, pero de todos modos lo que escuchamos en este video es a ravel: si fuese Mussorgsky, sería la pieza de piano y no algo orquestado. Ergo, es un hermoso Ravel.

I love Salonen, the man is a genius.
My only criticism of Salonen is it's sometimes hard to read his cut offs. You've got some staggered cut offs in the brass phrasing (e.g. at 7:29)...takes just a little bit away from the majesty of the brass toward the end. On the other hand, it may have simply been botched by one of the players. I've performed this piece on a couple of occasions, tenor trombone.

A lot of people like Salonen for his crazy awesome conducting at the beginning during Baba-Yaga(which is fine), BUT, I think the really amazing conducting is at 3:43 - 4:02 PURE BEAUTY! I could watch it a million times!
