First Person Shooter Opening Day Dove 2011 Frisco Texas

This is my first time out with my new camera. The clicking/rattling of the base has now been eliminated with a slight modification to the camera base. All these shots are from the "First Person Shooter" view and came out pretty good. I got some great sustained lead with follow through shots. I got in to the field late at about 07:30 lugging 3 video cameras and tripods 2 Mojo decoys and bucket with ice and water to sit on. It took 1 box of shells and 1 hour to get a limit of doves and one bunny. Some images may be disturbing to people that do not know where their food comes from. My Dogs and I do know where food comes from and cant wait for it to hit the grill tonight. The Bunny will be Filipino Adobo tomorrow. Kelly's dog Mack is doing GREAT! The more these dogs get out and hunt the smarter they get. Deutsch Drahthaars kick ass. They point, track scent and blood, retrieve on land and water, hunt ducks, quail, rabbit, boar, deer, raccoon's and squirrels.

Great video, awesome dogs. I live in Little Elm and was curious where this was shot in Frisco and how you were able to hunt on that land. Do you own that land, did you pay a lease? I'm looking for some hunting land and was curious if you could give me some advice.. Thank you

@civ2nr This was shot at my friends place in Frisco off El Dorado and the Dallas NTW. I have been hunting there for about 9 years. I dont know of any good places to lease but there is type 4 State land around the area and all you need to do is spend about $40 and buy the tag. Good luck and be safe.

@masterairsofter67 Thanks! I think the best part was the Dog Work! They both do furred feather and water work. I always try to shoot so the doves land in the water when I am near the pond. I should have gone out for ducks this morning but need to get my Federal Stamp first. Cant Wait till it gets cold here in Texas for more rabbits. Peace.... V, Michael

@Birdman4510 Hello, I am using a home made mount. I use an 8 minute epoxy to mount one of the Gopro bases. After several attempts I have positioned the base so the camera is right above my right eye, looking down the rib of the barrel. I have mounted one over the brim or the hat and one on the back of the cap. I am using a fitted cap so am able to mount it in just the right spot over my eye. I will make a video of how I did this because several people have axed about it now. Keep an eye out!
