Gabby/Chirp, our most wonderful pet sparrow died today in the exact kind of accident I prayed to God each day to protect her from. Chirp was in the top three best pets I ever had. My God rest her beatiful little soul.

They don't like each other much but are tolerant. Gabby stands up to them if they try to bully her.

She propels herself at them like a little bullet which scares them most of the time.

My sister-in-law said the same thing. She said that she never found a downed bird in her life!

I like sparrows too and yours is very cute. To me personally when I see a human interact with animals as tiny as a sparrow, and showing affection shows how amazing God is for giving us sparrows and enabling us to feel.
