I have an Osborne Manufactory, Birmingham clock also. Amazing that they still work, isn't it; with second hand, DATE, and all ... being around 239 years old ... yet clocks we buy today hardly last five. Mine has crossed the Atlantic 5 times (as I took it with me to Germany twice) ... and like the timex ads used to say: " it's still tickin ". I realize you probably won't get a lot of comments on this - but from someone who owns one (I have the bell shaped top with finials) ... THANK YOU.
