As a kid of the 70s, we did watch these series. Although we always joked about it then, our parents turnned to this show religiously and exposed us to the beauty of kundiman and other folk songs (plus the natural beauty of the countryside and the Filipinas who sang) . Dad reminded us often that Lirio Vital was a true Filipina beauty. Are there reruns aired on Philippine TV?
