You have to be very careful making jokes in the company of the funniest comedy group of all time. You can easily fall flat on your face, especially when the "joke" is as poor as yours!

Nah, there are plenty of completely unfunny videos on YT, masquerading as "comedy", you might get a better response to your "humour" there, mate.

What are you on about, dude?
I can't make a joke on a Python video?

Stop taking yourself so seriously, you're going to give yourself a stroke.

Fraid it's not an Aussie term, mate. It was in use and recorded before the colonisation of Aus.

They got into an interesting debate between themselves, which they were obviously enjoying and you come along, with your great anti-intellectual clod-hoppers and tell them "stop that! Stop that! It's all very silly!!"

No, they have every right to discuss it and you have every right to skip their conversation as it obviously has nothing at all to do with you (on many levels). Who do you think you are to tell a person what they can and cannot discuss?!

Eek! Bet you're fun at parties! Lighten up, mate!

If you really, out of the goodness of your own heart, wanted to help his out with his grammar, why not send him a private message to explain, instead of seemingly smugly, obnoxiously and arrogantly trying to humiliate him/her in front of everyone?

Oh well. Thanks for the upload anyway.

I think it is quite productive. The song helped you learn many of the very most important Philosophers of all time and it's done in a way that you won't forget it.

It's also taught you Descartes feelings on existentialism, with "I think (drink;-)) therefore I am".

If you want to learn about the second English civil war (where the King had his head chopped off), Python has a song about that too, also, their "Decomposing Composers" will teach you the DOB and deaths of the great composers!:-)
