BEAUTIFUL, allow me one important correction: In Johns gospel, after Jesus told the disciple :"Behold your mother" the text says : From that HOUR and not from that time on. The difference is crucial for exegesis because the term HOUR was key in the 2 scenes (CANA and CROSS)where Mary is mentionned in Johns gospel: My HOUR hasnt come yet in Cana refers to the HOUR of crucifixion and glory. At the same HOUR, Mary is given as Mother to the believers.

@reinwitgsus:  So Mary didn't do the will of God? Or are you saying that Mary is no more special than anyone else who's done the will of God? How do you account for the passages in Luke 1 where the angel and Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit, announce "Blessed are you among women?"

All who do the will of God is Jesus' brother, sister, mother, etc. You have no arguments there. Still, Mary was his birth mother. We are adopted--she is his blood relative.

So why in Mark 3:35, did Jesus say ; "Whoever does the will of God, is my brother, and my sister, and mother". Now, either Jesus is wrong or Catholics have gotten this wrong... Which is it? You are not both right... This needs to be worked out prior to you dying and facing Him!
