...unless this was the look you were going for, then good job, because that particular scene felt suspenseful when the sun was slowly being blocked out by the Death Star.

There are many tutorials out there that will improve your skills, keep on practicing, working and having fun. You have talent for making those scenes. Keep up the good work!

    Regards,

    Justin.

    (sorry, long comment)

... that should help smooth out the rough edges, and prevent the jittery look (like in the first scene with the Star Destroyer, as it approaches the lights from the windows jump around if you look close.)

Once you take a look at that, try adding a few more light to the scenes. I know space is really dark, but in some of those scenes it was hard to see what was going on, the Death Star scene comes to mind...

  • I think this is an amazing montage of work. Bravo!

Your animation is smooth, very comprehensive, good homage to the original styles used in the original trilogy.

I did like your effects, very nicely done, I would suggest looking into the various overlay effects (like additive) in After Effects. They will often times make your post effects look more natural to the scene. I saw some of your other videos and think that might help there too.

Also, see if your render program has anti-alising...

  • Greats scenes! I want to see the film!!!

  • No shame in that. It's a great sound effect; comes from the TIE Fighter series of games.
