Made using Multimedia Fusion 2. Here's the open source version of the game, since I'm getting tired of having to link people to the page to download it. You'll need MMF2 and the extensions required to be able to open this file. If you simply want to download the game, click on the download link lower down in the description.

Part 3 of 3. This is a game I made for the gamebuilder Halloween competition. It came third, though in my eyes it was the best :P

Download the final game HERE

  • I played facade.

    It was amazing :)

  • @SWEGTA Yeah, it was very original.

  • @3kliksphilip Never realised a game could be that fun, but it's full of glitches.

One time the girl asked about her decorating, I said "I think it looks nice" and Tripp just kicked me out and said "Maybe it's time for you to leave", antother glitch is when you say the word "Melon". They will somehow hate you.

I tried editing files to change paintings and stuff like that, it was really easy and fun.

  • @SWEGTA Yeah, me too. I find it more frustrating to play it now, it seems a bit unresponsive (and the 1.8 Ghz requirement is absurd).

  • @3kliksphilip Is it laggy for you?

My friend has a pretty good gaming computer while I have a laptop (I get about 60 - 120 fps in source games).

I also feel like they don't really talk to you.

It's like when someone talks to you and just expects you to say yes or no and they just keep on talking, without a single thought of letting you respond before taking the subject further.

The game itself is really fun, but I feel so trapped and the bots really don't care about the players point of view.

  • @SWEGTA It's kind of like a more ambitious version of those old Kings Quest games. It's trying to pick out key words that you say, and will respond in a pre-programmed way. I don't see this changing any time soon unfortunately.

Still, it's a good reason to go outside and talk to real people!

  • @coxyofnewp Did you know that AMOS is written by the same people as the ones who made MMF2? And thanks for the support, I find the best way to learn how to make games is to open up other peoples' games and see how they were made.

  • @Zolga00 Pleased you thought the game was good :)

  • I bought MMF2 last night, and am presently waiting for it to arrive. I'm mentally preparing by watching tutorials, and I found your videos entertaining and inspiring. Thanks for taking the time to put this stuff up!

  • @3kliksphilip Haha of course.

I would get really suprised if I just said Melon and someone would attack me.

  • you are like a genius in the making...

  • @thomasl4d Look up the game 'Narbacular Drop'
