  • I agree Joe Hockey Should Be PM

  • Would you rather live in a 100 square meter house in a society where the average house size is 50sm or would you rather live in a 500sm house when the average house size is 1000 sm? The majority of people answer this by saying they would rather be relatively rich in a poor society rather than relatively poor in a rich society. By handicapping productivity in exchange for more current equity you are indeed among the majority. You would rather see every Australian living in 50 square meter houses.

  • Easy "Key Economic Issue Facing Australia" is Gillard

  • something special here?

  • I'm really not aware of your economical problems in the US but I have a weird sense lately.."I see Debt people"

  • thanks guys this is great

  • what a pig it fuck whits like him that hold up the NBN blowing it way out of budget then poking a joke at global warming i got one thing to say to you GET FUCKED you dumb shit polie message coming from gen y look the fuck out we are coming

  • economists has warned a critical point will be reached in 15 years when there will be more people withdrawing cash from super funds than workers contributing to them. That can only possibly occur IF the Government has already stolen my sup? if ive already paid into it, it still SHOULD be there! but hay we all no governments are the biggest thieves! so it will be a problem. or it could be a good excuse to raise taxes to 15% meaning with my income tax at 33% plus my supp at 15% would mean 48% tax!

  • Bloody ne-liberal cows, worsening working conditions, letting people off, disallowing fairness in Contracts, handing the capital on a silver platter for the corporates. Rich are getting richer poor are getting poorer. Life today is another re-incarnation of feudalism under a different banner, cause and effect are the same. This country needs a revolution. the majority should decide their own fate. Not a couple of CEO who run the country down and walking away with millions. Is this justice!!!!!!?

  • If you don't raise taxes or cut back in services, how will you pay the national debt?

Other countries are cutting back and considering protectionism (especially w/currencies). If they continue w/ith these, I can't believe that the govt. will do nothing in response.

Banks still don't trust each other. Until they do the credit market will remain frozen. Looks like both main parties are terrified of the power of the banks.

  • Hockey says the banks need to be "regulated". But he doesn't go further and say nationalized if they can't get their act together.

Also, if the Coalition was running economic policy, would they dare to go against Obama and Geithner's qualitative easing? So far, i've seen no sign of that.

If you won't hold the banks responsible for their roles in the global depression, how will the credit market work again? Hockey's an attorney. He needs to do his homework.

  • @tmyttonwatson joe hockey is a war criminal.thats history, you cant argue with facts.
