What happens when two epic Samsung Android phones go against each other in a dogfight? MAYHEM! Aaron throws the Samsung Galaxy Note into the ring against Verizon's Samsung Galaxy Nexus. The Galaxy Note is coming soon to AT&T with 4G LTE connectivity, but for now, an unlocked variant (which is what's in the video) can be purchased online at specialty retailers. The international Samsung Galaxy Note ships with a 1.4 GHz dual-core Exynos processor, 5.3-inch Super AMOLED HD display (with 800x1280 pixels), 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, a front-facing camera, 2,500 mAh battery, and Android 2.3 with Samsung's TouchWiz 4.0 UI. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus sports a 1.2 GHz dual-core TI OMAP processor, 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD (720p) display, 5-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, a front-facing camera, 1,850 mAh battery, 4G LTE connectivity, and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

Both of the phones are awesome choices, though they'll appeal to two different types of people. Which one offers the best blend of features and performance? Part 2 of 2.

  • That's a huge bitch!!!!!!

  • so since you didn't even notice that the Galaxy Note had a pentile Super AMOLED display, I have to wonder if all this hubub over pentile matrices isn't heavily overblown...

  • You are the only person that I will watch when it comes to reviews. You cover everything and give a very good overall review/comparison. Thank you very much for your work. Keep it up!

  • @MusicmanDT24 you can download it..go and look in youtube..you'll find it..:D

  • @joza927 How did you get 4.0.4 though? Im still on 4.0.2

  • Can you do one with the note and HTC vivid?

  • Aaron what is with the incorrect review ? The galaxy note has a pentile display as well

  • The unlocked version has a different processor, therefore invalid

  • now it's an android 4.0.4 :D ouyeaaaah :D

  • These are reviews based upon stock. If they only took in consideration of Custom Mods. My Samsung Epic 4G from 2010 is still faster than a Nexus S. Even Though its dual core mine is OC'ed to 1.5GHz and GPU OC'ed to 400MHz my games play better and etc... Plus we have ICS finally but seeing how it came wit 2.1, then 2.2, then 2.3 and now un official 4.0.3. Plus not to to mention on a stock 1500 mAh battery. I can run my phone a day with moderate use.
