I agree with the guy below who commented that we can like both the original step version and Karen entrance version. There is not a bigger Led Zeppelin fan walking this earth than me. I worship at the altar of Jimmy Page, but I think this version kicks ass.

For me, the Led Zeppelin version is a dark, atmospheric and twisted ROCK SONG.... This Karen O version is just a dark, atmospheric and twisted SONG. That's why I like them both but respond more to the fury in the Karen O version.

Yeah this is an amzing work...kudos indeed - i love it...and yes it is on par with Led Zeps....BUT, the original is still the kicker when played loud and hard too...this is amazing and Karen O does it fab vocal faithful to original yet her own too - and that is HARD to do UNLESS you have superb talent - amazing interpretation!

Everything about this version is so in style of Nine Inch Nails, I'm surprised mr. Reznor didn't include it in a NIN album.

I think you'll find the issue is "You are a fan of Led Zeppelin who is too set in their ways" and "I'm a fan of Led Zeppelin who has no problem with the evolution of expression". I like interesting soundscapes and atmospheres.... And you probably respond more to "killer licks and funky riffs".
