IASAS Dances are 20-minute dances which aim to express a theme through movement. Dancers are trained and appointed carefully before participating in this event. Every year, these dances are performed in the cultural convention in any of the 6 international schools in Southeast Asia, selected via round robin.

Int'l School Manila batch 2003-2004 decided to use the undying prevalent issue of ABUSE as the core theme of the dance. Showcasing a group of abusers and the abused, the struggle eventually commences with a sacrifice to push for a change in the abusive systems, a chance to start anew.

Enjoy.

  • the most amazing dance ive ever seen hehe i love it what is the name of this song? and where is this dance school located? and u guys rock my socks lol

  • Thank you very much. It isn't a dance school, it's a high school (ISM) and we were just the dance team.

  • who was in IASAS for this year? and were you guys wearing shoes? the choreography is great!

  • thanks for your comment. no we were not wearing shoes so our feet, knees, actually almost all our body parts were either bruised up and or bleeding. this was a pre-iasas showing. there were i think 10 dancers, 2 of the 10 were our aspirants/trainees who did not get to travel with us for this years' IASAS.

  • dance was awesome.what song was used and is it contemporary movements u have used.exellent choreography.

  • ahh. the one thing i disliked about this was all the girls had their hair down.

i normally LOVE that in a dance but it seems to me when all your movements look so precise and together, you can always catch someone whose off my looking for the hair.

    but it really is amazing.

  • This is the Int'l School of Manila (Phillipines)'s Dance Team. They are pretty awesome.

  • I like it. It is similar to what we do at the Uplaced Gymnastic ballet.
