maskedphrogg unmasked: You're going around in circles: First you say there can be no free market if government is involved. Now you say government needs to be there to enforce contracts. I think your train of thought has become derailed in the roundhouse of confusion.
Masketphrogg: You say "no free market" if government is involved. That sounds like piracy, like Somalia these days. Who would force insurance companies to pay off any claims? Why should any company obey any laws if government doesn't frame the system?
Native born North Americans (commonly known as American Indians) were white? That's news to me.
As is the supposition that I work for an industry that did me grave harm as a young adult.
The difference btwn you and me is that I prefer to seek redress to harm by reforming the industry and the economy it operates in. Free trade and competition of market entrants would allow able participants to dominate. You prefer a continuation of the government monopoly system that protects malicious players.
AFAIK Paul spent more time as a formally declared Libertarian. However, as you astutely point out, it is far more important to understand Ron's political integrity than to worry about which political party he was a member of at any particular point in time. It is the common themes in both Libertarian and Republican Parties that attracted Paul.
I fear I misinterpreted the meaning of your earlier post concerning Paul and Kucinich's Party affiliations. It *is* the Parties that have gone off course.
maskedphrogg is 100% correct, I know Dr. Paul's history, he is wisely using the best vehicle (political party) to get to where he needs to go, and that is 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., Washington, D.C.
I see you are expanding your repertoire to include red herring arguments sprinkled in with the non-sequitors and ad-hominem attacks.
The genocide, that is what it was, occurred well after the Declaration of a State independent of British rule. But don't let facts get in the way of your emotional arguments.
Nope, I'm not gonna fall. If you wanna take this country you'll need to do so by force. Blood was shed to liberate this nation from Britain 2 centuries ago. Have no doubt there are plenty willing to shed more blood to defend that Liberty.
That is the point I'm raising with VeohBlows. There can be no Free Market when the terms of entry are defined, enabled, and enforced by government. VeohBlows would like to redefine and/or reform the government intervention in Health Care provision markets. These markets, and the consumers in those markets, would be better served by opening the market to competition and free trade of services. Presumably VeohBlows would rather be served by those coerced to do so.

Why are you suggesting that those who voluntarily enter into contracts should not have those contracts enforced?
I never said government has no role in society. Enforcement of contracts falls within the very limited set of roles rightly fulfilled by government.
What I suggest is taking the government out of the market. I never suggested that contracts should never be enforced.

@VeohBlows
As I presumed, you had nothing of merit to say.
Have a nice day anyway.
