i'm sorry but theres no point to that. Yes, he was a great player and all, but he wasn't a met. They should make it like Mets Rotunda or something. With pictures of bill bucker missing the ball, mike piazza, tom seaver, Jerry koosman, mooky wilson, daryl strawberry, etc.

and instead of jackie robinson's quotes put like the words "amazin" or "magic"

I'm fine with a Jackie Robinson Rotunda (I would've been happy with Jackie Robinson FIELD... better than naming our new park after a bad bank) but they need more Mets stuff here...

Should've been called (William A.) Shea Rotunda. Soon as you walk into the place, you feel like you're going to see a Dodger game. Other than the fact that the Mets physically take the field, you really aren't given any indication that the Mets play there.

this ahole didnt even play for the mets why is he in our new stadium, should be a tribute to all the mets teams and players make it a mets historical rotunda, who the hell cares about jackie robinson specific to the mets, dumb idea period

I don't like the idea. Jackie Robinson, with all due respect, has nothing to do with the Mets and the rotunda should have paid homage to Mets History. Perhaps the Tom Seaver Rotunda with photos of Kranepool, the original 3 Mets announcers, 1973, 1969, 1986 WS teams, Piazza, Felix Millan, Casey Stengel, Jerry Koosman....etc. & memorabilia of all the good and not-so-good times in Mets History. We are ignoring our own history
