Yeah it's in the review, just some text over the review section outlining that. I'm still learning so I didn't really think of it, but I do have one now and it is definitely a MUST for outdoor shooting.

Thanks man!

Really great review man. Exactly the information I was looking for.

Your shutter should never change. You need a ND filter. If you change the shutter the video can get choppy.

I'm going to Europe for a working holiday thing. I want a fast lens (1.4, 1.8 or 2.0) that would be good for standard walk around photography. I have a crop-sensor 550d, would the focal length be short enough for that, or am I better of getting something wider?

If you're looking for something wide angle, don't go with this. Technically this is a "wide angle" lens but on a cropped sensor it acts like a 50mm, which is not very wide at all.

I have a canon 50mm 1.8 lens...Would it be much of a difference if I got this sigma 30 mm 1.4? Will the quality be better? I just want to know if upgrading from a canon 50mm 1.8 lens to a sigma 30 mm 1.4 is worth it.

It really depends on what you are doing. If you think you'll need more space when you're shooting, then the 30mm might be for you. I recommend just looking around at other lenses until you get a nice feel for how you should expand your collection of lenses. As for quality, I think you will be fine with that 50mm 1.8 for awhile.
