777 Landing On Aircraft Carrier

Actual no gimmicks....landing weight 325,000 lbs. touchdown speed 104 kts. Flight controls handled by 12 year old with dad managing throttles. Ships speed was 30 kts, touchdown ground speed 74 kts. No arrestor cables. X-Plane 8.60 was used.

Cool stuff! But not realistic, probably need another 2 carrier for the landing distance. lol That's why they've got hooks for the fighter jets when landing.

Well, there was a 30 kt headwind, the jet was empty, and the carrier was going into the wind. Add these up and you can land a 777 on a carrier.

i can make an aircraft be a heli on FS and land in a top of building... just config wind at maximum...
