The return to utopia
...In a single day and night an entire content swallowed by the sea taking with it the mythical utopia...
Was Plato setting down history? Or was he merely creating a moral play?
The human race is full of wish fulfillments, full of dreams; we don't like to think that our existence is pointless or purposeless, so the search for utopia, I think should be put in this larger contest of human needs, the thing that keeps us going...It is the myth of Atlantis that compels us to wonder, It speaks to a need that human beings have.
We are all interested in the perfect society, in a world were all people live happily and in peace...and that's the image of Atlantis...and I say if it existed in the past why cant we get it... now?
Why can't we build our utopia, Atlantis in the 21 century according to our human needs, and what we search for this day and age...?
What if we built this city Plato dreamed off, and visited. built a utopian city, holding people from around the world sharing peace, art and philosophy believing in the virtue of life. And the dream of a better tomorrow.

Utopian societies really are impossible to achieve but it doesn't mean that we shouldn't try. But for one to exist we would need to force somethings on people that they wouldn't want. No one would enjoy the society 100%, and out of that would come the fallacy of actually being a Utopia... maybe.
Nice vid anyway, peace
