Annie Fischer (1914-1995) She was born in the capital city of Hungary (Budapest), where she studied at the Franz Liszt Academy. 1933: She won at the International Liszt Competition. Fischer mainly played in Europe and also Australia. Because of the fact that she was Jewish she had to leave Hungary and fled to Sweden, but she came back 1946 (1945 end of WW2...)
