This only on-road mate. Sorry but this is pathetic. Mitsi. Pajero (Montero) can do much better jump than that.

naw dude- a lambo doing 300km/hr would do a wayy better jump than a Pajero :P Any car will jump if you go fast enough lol- oh and I disagree with that last line. The gen 1 CRVs were some of the more offroad-capable crossover SUVs.

A Lambo can do a better jump?? Yeah, you're right but only on tarmac. Do this on a gravel, you'll "write" it off "instantly".

Let me make a fairer comparison for the CRV, a Suzuki Grand Vitara kicks CRV's sorry arse!! But then the Grand Vitara have the low ratio. How about a Subaru Forester, it has a symmetrical 4WD, proven for light off-road duties. Even Volvo XC70 (& 90) are way better. Both were tested in Land Rover's beaten track.

I still put my money on any 4X4s with low range though.

dude, its all relative- in the world of crossover SUVs, the CRV, while agreeably not the best (did I ever say it was the best??), is far from poor offroad. Even stock, they have one of the best ground clearance profiles (I am talking gen 1 here, not 2nd, definitely not 3rd). A lumber skidder would destroy your Pajero offroad - maybe we should all get skidders!

dude... whats with all the hatin? have any of you guys ever actually driven a cr-v off road? or do you just read the magazines? haha... and Hummers (other than the H1) are a joke... they are bloated chevy's...

the cr-v may not be a rock crawler, but anything short of rock crawling is no issue for a cr-v...

@ Fox - one time after i lifted mine i (accidentally...) hit a raised railroad crossing at 70mph, and got so much air that i bounced in the air on the landing... i wish i had video...

I have a CR-V and it great off road i have had some great air from mine and it has climbe some steep hills as well you just need to know how to drive one. i have a few vids check them out. i am going to do more so watch this space

mate this jump has no style. it would've been if you've used an NSX, S2000 or even Integra.

Pajeros, Patrols, Prados or even Jimnys and Samurais own. CRVs sucks shit. People buy CRVs cause not only they can't afford the "real mccoy" but also can't afford to maintain one and can't properly handle real 4X4s.

Which one can destroy his pajero?? your crv? I'm laughing @ you!! I'll bring out my Hummer H3 or even a chevy suburban against you!
