  • @kylemcevoy I'm just about there myself!

  • my 04 impala only has 45k miles lol

  • @austinfranze1 I did that just LAST YEAR.

  • Congrats on the 100000 mile mark. Be proud your 4 wheeled girlfriend made it !

I have an ex-police car from NJ thats got 124K on it right now. Tranny was rebuilt at 121K. Car still runs and drives like the first day I bought it. I have a WORKED 3.4L under the hood. Top end 157.5 MPH. Enjoy your baby. And its a rush to watch it change to 100000 miles.

  • @jtho53 157.5?!? The limiter for the non-police cars is at 109 I think...

  • mine has 94k...use it to commute

  • The manifold oil leak is not gonna be a cheap fix. Keep a close eye on the oil. Like I said in my previous post ......157 miles an hour and she is totally WORKED!

Was tested by a NJ State Trooper. I was in the car. Was clocked by radar.

  • @jtho53 just found out from a friend the manifold has a crack, causing oil to leak and dry up from the heat of the engine,

  • @jtho53 ita a 2003 with 103,500 miles. it runs good, but the oil problem is a bitch, and the tranny only slips when the engine is cold, once warmed up its ok, so im thinking torque convertor, if you know anything, please let me know, much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Richard

  • @MrRichierich1990 You my friend have a 3K repair bill waiting to happen. Its an older car? Trade it in...Its time. You most likely have worn out clutches in the tranny, If its eating oil and antifreeze bad intake and head gaskets.

Time for a new one. Give her, her last rights
