http://www.mda.state.mn.us Where does energy come from? Sun, rain, air, soil, and plants play an important role in energy production. It all involves the carbon cycle. How are todays fuels (and the pollutants they emit) impacting the environment? Understanding how the carbon cycle works reveals our need to find clean, renewable fuel sources.

This video is part of the "Fields of Energy" DVD, a production of Minnesota Agriculture in the Classroom. "Fields of Energy" and its 12 segments are an introduction to how agriculture uses science and technology to look for renewable energy and fuel.
