  • How'd you put it underwater?

  • @PivotEasy

Good Question. His head is actually being shoved into a fish tank full of water. I was beneath the suspended tank shooting him through the clear bottom making it appear the camera is in the toilet.

  • This is so good! You are very talented! I love the look of your film and the concept! I want to apply to the USC film school next year, any tips on planning or producing a film? and how long did it take you to make this?

  • Thanks a lot! It took 4 months to make this film: 3 months of pre-pro, a 4 day shoot, and about a month of post. The key to a great film is to have a great story. USC themselves, in their prompt, tell you to create a short film with a BEGINNING, MIDDLE, AND END. Some kids just submit an excerpt which is instant failure. Create a compelling story with rich characters that ultimately do something that comes to a good climax. The schools care more about the story than the execution. Good Luck!

  • Do you know if you got accepted?

  • I actually liked it but I think they should of done something else rather than the chores

  • Did he kill the brother at the end or just use him to clean the toilet

  • this is amazing, what effects did you use?

  • Great job! What camera did you use?\

  • @MsBanditCat

Hello! I was one of the actors who worked under Shadow's guidance and instruction in this film. He has not heard back yet, but I am crossing my fingers and hoping that he gets in, as he is extremely talented at what he does and loves.

Work on adding to your extracurricular activities, whether it be sports or music or community service. For Shadow, and I (by extension), we love to film. If you already have something, stick with it. These colleges are looking at the whole individual.

  • were u accepted into USC? i hope u were! Im thinking of applying into Business&Cinematic joint. How can I increase my chances? I am from Singapore

  • Hey this really good. The photography is pretty well done. I'm applying to Emerson too. Check out my video and tell me what you think. I'm still working on editing a few rough parts. The video is on my page. Lone Man's Folly extended
