From what I've dug up, this was Chip Taylor's (Wild Thing, Angel Of The Morning, I Can't Let Go) first group. This is a Spector-meets-Beatles version of the old Ella Mae Morse song. It's a very bizarre arrangement of a standard, but I really like it.
This was originally released on the small Ford label and later picked up by a big company. You'll find out who re-released it by watching the whole video. Enjoy and crank it up!

The B side of the Ford label release, My Japanese Sweetheart, was reissued on Ford 143, backed with It Doesn't Matter Anymore, which was the B side of the Atco release of Blacksmith Blues.
