  • Poverty is exacerbated by charity. Poverty is a political situation, not a lack of food or care. It is easy to put a few bucks to support a child in another "third world" country, whilst walking over the broken backs of your own people in your own country. Well, it is the same in Africa people of untold wealth driving their Mercedes over the bodies of starved children. Poverty is political.

  • his repeated words are for effect. Speaking is different from writing. Besides, this is a man who survived a civil war and was self educated. All things considered, i think his English is excellent. And why are you critical when you wrote: "(which I would call not good English)"

  • sounds good mr weeks....but how many kids died in monrovia of hunger during ur sppech...im tired of talkers...we need do'ers. and if he knew the real reason why hunger happens, and the politics that is involve. he would quit. when kids die in liberia for not eating for days while mcdonalds in the US throw out 1000s of burgers at end of business days

  • does anyone else think that he looks a lot like Will Smith?

  • @mikontisot i find it funny that they talk about poverty when they spend hundreds of millions on ads, while they could have spent that on people in need

  • Poverty will never end in Africa its a business! As long as you have leaders like Mugabe, Dos Santos etc etc etc.....in Power Africa will never change!thats just the way things are!Africans were not created to lead! There is a popular african saying, "You can take the Monkey out of the bush but you can never take the bush out the monkey" and that is a fact!Africa was better of colonialised!!!

  • @alishehrishah you are an idiot...go away.

  • Africa will remain poor as long as their are negroes.

  • poor people only exist if rich people exist, poverty is a contrast of the norm, if everybody on earth suffered from disease and starvation it would be called the norm. Also why do families in these poor remote countries have up to 10 children when the parents can barely feed themselves, if a family had 2, 3 kids max their parents could focus their money on them instead of having to share it amongst 10 children

  • I admire this person!!!!

  • Are you kidding me right now....are u serious...it is obvious who you are and what type you come from (from within Ethiopia) because u have singled out every major tribe except your own and claimed it as the ONLY victimised tribe. Did you think another Ethiopian wouldnt visit this inspirational video?? He is spreading the word about Uniting Humanity how dare you post this hate here....i feel sorry for you...race or tribe does not define who a person is...they have their own PERSONALITY.
