Here we continue our examination of the very affordable yet decent quality Chinese brand Sanrenmu. Next to their own production, they also act like an outsourcing partner for western brands. Here we have a look at 3 Sanrenmu knives (the SRM 728, 4730 and 1723) which are also sold in the west as respectively a Böker Magnum, a Fox in the BlackFox series, and the much-loved Buck Nobleman with rubberized carbon-fiber look handles.

  • Where can I buy Sanrenmu knives?

  • @hku99 Google for Exduct and you'll find a well-stocked webshop. All of mine come from there.

  • @MrDagon007 can you pls tell me how long the shipping is an delivery time to Belgium? (im from the Netherlands so most of the time its only a day or so an maybe 1 euro difference)

  • @CannabisDelux From Exduct it takes around two weeks. Maximum 3 weeks. They're very reliable, in my experience. If you already have enough knives, it is no problem to wait a little :-)

  • Mr.Dagon you never cease to amaze me,your knowledge on this brand is amazing great job and excellent review!

  • @CutleryNovice Thanks for the very friendly feedback. FYI there are more SRM video reviews coming up, I waited so I could discuss a substantial amount of them in a focused series.

  • You're one of the best contributors on youtube in this arena, most grateful for your efforts.

  • @MrDagon007 BTW since your in Belgium i thought i would tell you that their is a fast (but a bit more pricy) way to get some SRM knifes , the website is called knifeantools an they selll eden quality knifes, these are just sanrenmu's with a other name. took me a day to get one but the asortiment is limited. guess i get a other 710 for 15 bucks ^^

  • @MrDagon007 thanks for the fast repley :) i broke my edc when i got stuck in a elivator (used it to pry open the door so i could get my fingers betwean them) so i really need a new knife fast (who knows what happens next XD my life is like a cartoon some times) .

  • A tanto blade is also great for cutting boxes carpet an more of these kind of cutting tasks. like the review :)

  • @hku99 edcdepot.com great place to get anything

  • Chinese 440A is technically 5CR15MOV steel,

Chinese 440C is technically 7CR17MOV steel.

Chinese AUS6 is technically 5CR13MOV steel.

Chinese AUS8 is technically 8CR13MOV steel.

Chinese AUS8A is technically 8CR14MOV steel.

    I hope this helps
