RFK. This was a labor of love...its set to a Neil Diamond song, which may seem an odd choice-- but as far as I know it is the only song written that exclusively deals with RFK and his legacy.

  • Bobby you will live forever in my heart. I love you.

  • Very well done--an excellent tribute to an incredible man. In addition to the CS&N song "Long Time Gone," folk rock singer John Stewart wrote an entire album about his experience working on RFK's campaign in 1968. Unfortunately, the title escapes me at the moment.

  • They murdered a good man, the bastards.....what a loss.

I will forever love Bobby Kennedy.

  • Taby, what an awesome choice of song for a wonderful tribute. Neil Diamond's voice always sends chills down my spine. You mentioned that you thought that this was the only song that dealt with RFK and his legacy. There is one more. "Long Time Gone," by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.

  • I met Neil Diamond and RFK's widow Ethel on the same day, October 15, 1972. Neil appeared in a one-man show on Broadway that month and did a fund-raiser for an RFK foundation on October 3. On the 15th, he came to Maryland for a George McGovern Presidential fundraiser. The VP candidate was RFK's brother-in-law Sargent Shriver, and this fundraiser was open to the public at the Shriver home. Shriver is now an in-law of a famous Republican, father-in-law of Arnold S. of California.
