ATM FRAUD

went to use the ATM and noticed it had fake cover on card reader. then noticed fake keypad. crooks use these things to dupe your card and empty your account. if i did not catch it, it would have been the 2nd time to happen to me. i always thought when i have seen emails regarding this stuff it was fake, its not. be alert.

ATM skimming is growing. A large ring just got broken up around LA.

Unfortunately, the crooks equipment is getting better & harder to detect.

Thanks for the video & for doing the right thing. Next time I would suggest calling a news crew 1st, then the police. I say this only to increase public awareness about the problem.

What was even worse there is a sheriff station across the street and it took them 45 minutes to get there. I should have contacted the media first. Then to top it off, I was interrogated like it was my doing.

I hope you called the cops or the bank after fooling around with that shit on camera. If you didn't, don't be suprise if you get a knock on the door from the cops asking you about credit card fraud.

since it happened to me before and i didnt catch it and was wiped out, i def. called the cops cuz it sucks and i dont know how many people used it before me. the sheriff station was across the street, tho it took them 45 minutes to an hour to arrive. gave them the equipment and statement. havent heard anything since.
