George W. Bush on Sunday hailed progress in the war that defines his presidency and got a size-10 reminder of his unpopularity when a man hurled two shoes at him during a news conference.
In the middle of the news conference, Iraqi television journalist Muntadar al-Zaidi stood up and shouted "This is a goodbye kiss from the Iraqi people, You Dog," before hurling a shoe at Mr Bush.
With his second shoe, Mr Zaidi said: "This is for the widows and orphans and all those killed in Iraq."
Bush quipped: "All I can report is that it was a size 10 shoe."

@Iraqikurd4ever I just hope that this man should be killed. I was in Iraq and it was beautiful country and good people. this man turns everything into hell.
