I guess the stimulas was more important than principle, I believe the One might have twisted Reid's arm to give Burris his seat for the sake of the supermajority. I predict by 2010 all this will be forgotten about as Burris is reinvented as sqeuky clean and corruption in Ill. gets back to normal.
