STS-128 Landing, 9/11/09

After a two week mission to the International Space Station, Space Shuttle Discovery lands at Edwards AFB in California after being delayed one day due to bad weather at the Kennedy Space Center. First images are infrared, long ranges cameras are shaky due to winds in the area...but stablize as the Discovery nears.

Unbelievable how the commentator is all wrong about the physics!

Hearing that boom doesn't indicate that the craft has decreased it's Mach number to <1. AT ALL!

I made it off work work in time to go watch the landing in person, It was awesome to watch in person. Very cool to come home and re watch it on NASA TV.

that shit scared the livin bitch out of me! My windows raddled, floor trebled, heart stopped, then came the roar of the sky... me n my friend stopped 4 a sec. he was wtf face (O.o) , i was whoa face (O_O)
