@herpeslip Education shouldn't be something that is left up to states. It should be a constitutional right for every kid to have the opportunity to get an education; at least up to the high school level. You shouldn't have less fortunate kids not have the opportunity to educate themselves simply because they weren't born in the right family or born in the wrong state. Otherwise you will end up with an even greater separation between the "haves" & have-nots" than there already is

@PlayboiX122 He's only talking about the Federal department. We still have state Departments of Education which perform the same functions; the Federal Department of Education is redundant and hurts the ability of the state departments to change with the times.
