Tiger devours dog in battle for kennel

A young tigress is being cared for near Vladivostok in Russia's Far East after a resident found it sleeping in a dog kennel. Unfortunately the original inhabitant of the kennel - a dog - was devoured after the tiger cub decided to make it her own.

No. Humans are not the only species that kills for pleasure. Cats are the worst, they play with mice or small snakes before killing them. I know wolves often kill for sport too.

On the contrary, tigers that are suffering from old age or disease and unable to hunt large prey, are known to go after weaker species (such as us). And dogs are usually even smaller and easier to overpower than humans.

@Kittywhiskers1000 I know. but it would be cool if they were already here. All we have is grizzly bears. Russia has grizzly bears and tigers.

Eventually the ecosystems are gonna be so screwed up that it will hardly matter, invasive species will be mostly for natural reasons because they change their territories to adapt.

Unfortunately the tigers have no way to do that, unless they can go northeast and cross between Russia and Alaska during the winter without starving.
