  • Because... I don't give a shit about climate change?

  • No, because.....travelling on our fuel efficient turboprop aircraft can be more environmentally friendly than travelling by train.

  • Love this ad...looks like a great airline and I love the Dash 8!

  • In the last year or so, the airline has added new routes to Glasgow, Newcastle, Cork, Dublin, Guernsey and London City Airport. Plymouth City Airport is the airline's home base, and is currently one of the only UK airports which is growing (passenger numbers up 13% compared to last year, source UK Civil Aviation Authority). The recent planning permissions re the airport will allow for further investment in facilities, whilst at the same time releasing surplus land for property development.

  • We view ourselves as "Britain's Local Airline", flying from convenient regional airports, massively reducing journey times compared to road and rail, great value fares with no hidden extras, and a warm, efficient and friendly approach to customer service. Coupled with some great destinations closer to home, perfect for the growing interest in short breaks within the UK, Ireland and Channel Islands.

  • Wonderful Advert, one day i hope to fly for Air Southwest :)

  • That's surprising.. it shows how these things are always more complex than they first seem. It's quite embarrassing that the trains are only 30% full on average - if their ticketing was as good as yours, this could easily be much higher. They could also quite easily switch to renewable energy for all electrified lines.

Perhaps it's time to start campaigning for greener railways!
