Haiku's Car Wash Horror

This is my generally silly dog, Haiku, a Siberian Husky / Australian Shepherd mix (we "think") who just turned one year old.

And this was his very first ride through the car wash.

Turns out, it was a very terrifying experience :)

(No animals were harmed in the making of this video. Soon after the ordeal ended, we stopped to vacuum out the inside of the car and Hike was bouncy and happy as ever. He makes the same horrified face when I drag him into the tub for a bath, although he loves running through puddles in the rain and swimming in mud.

I wasn't planning on posting this when I filmed it, so the real background sound was of me and my mother laughing over the situation in our native language. When I replayed the video at home, I figured it was too hilarious not to upload. And then the Jaws theme music just seemed more fitting.

Inspired by Stains, the Australian Shepherd featured on "It's Me or the Dog" for Stains invented the bug-eyed Aussie look!)

I need to ask where in the country you are. I have a dog that looks EXACTLY like yours. I was told mine was a Catahoula Austrailian Sheppard mix. Makes me wonder if they are siblings. Best dog I have ever had.

@dbmack13 Your dog is quite gorgeous! Definitely has that thicker houla built. When you see photos of my boy, you can tell he's almost all husky, so no way they're siblings, but I agree they are quite amazing dogs! We're in the US (Indiana) and Haiku has been born and raised locally :)

For everyone else that keeps commenting on how stressed and/or traumatized my dog is, I'll have to post some new videos eventually so you can see that he's a perfectly healthy and happy!

ZOMG. I let out an unnatural snort at that one. Then lost it when his eyes got bigger and bigger. The music totally made it. :)

Totally takin Jaz to the car wash next time. She'd probably be all chill like, "that was so boring, dude" knowing her. haha :)

yes a sign of stress for dogs is ears back and licking their lips. but he is only doing that because he is scared of the car wash. I bet if she knew that the dog was afraid of the car wash she wouldnt have taken him through it. why do people got to bitch about the most stupiest things on youtube.

@billwho62 actually if you read ^ up there you would have realized she is from Indiana AND she couldnt possibly be a slob because slobs dont give their dogs bathes let alone themselves. so why would she bathe her dog and not herself.AND if you also seen that she posted new videos of the dog to prove how healthy and unstressful the dog is.
