Going to court on your own to get an order of protection to stop domestic violence can be very confusing and intimidating. This video is intended to help you better understand the steps and procedures involved in getting an order of protection on your own. In addition, this video will familiarize you with different types of orders of protection, the procedure for getting them, the clerk's office, the court room and the different roles of the people you will encounter while representing yourself.
